Behind the Scenes of Lambda World: A Rollercoaster Ride with Lots of Learning and Growth

Organizing Lambda World 2024 was an exciting, albeit challenging, journey for us at Yay-Yay Events. For the first time, we took on the responsibility of bringing this iconic event outside of Málaga, and doing it in Cádiz added layers of complexity we hadn’t anticipated. From dealing with unexpected attendance numbers to managing a three-day event format, the process tested our limits. But despite the hurdles, the feedback we received from the few attendees was overwhelmingly positive, pushing us to plan even bigger for next year.
